One thing I love about life is the opportunity to start fresh each day. It’s so joyous and such a blessing. I am trying to change my perception of thinking into becoming more positive about things, and this is one way of doing that.
It’s hard to not dwell on the bad days when they come and ponder over what you would have done differently. I do it all the time with my diabetes. If I get a bad number because I didn’t work out that evening, or I ate something bad, I tend to really get down about it. But, that’s what tomorrow is for.
Tomorrow is always a new day; a clean slate to a fresh start. Worrying about what has already happened doesn’t really accomplish anything. (Guilty as charged.) It’s about learning from our mistakes and moving forward.
Every day is a new beginning. Treat it that way. Stay away from what might have been, and look at what can be. –Marsha Petrie Sue
Isn’t that wonderful.
